We are therefore happy to announce that AstroDate now offers the much asked for 1-on-1 date format. Just you and one other person get to meet each other for a more intimate social occasion, creating a forum for a more in-depth conversation, without distraction. The format is set as a lunch, coffee or drinks-after-work date, to minimize feeling pressured.

The benefits of the 1-on-1 AstroDate are numerous. It is more flexible in terms of date, time and venue, in that we will try and accommodate you at a time and place that suits you. The waiting period for a 1-on-1 is less, since there are less people to astrologically match and process than with a 8@8 AstroDate. Possibly the best benefit is that you select the profiles of the people that you would like to meet. That’s right, no blind dates! We will forward you profiles of people whom meet your requirements as well as match your astrological profile.

These profiles contain pictures and personal information, but no names, contact details or other identifying information. Click here for a sample profile. Please rest assured that we will not send your profile to anyone without your express permission. We will only send it out for perusal if you tick the tick-box “1-on-1 AstroDates”. If you opt to be selected for 1-on-1 AstroDates in your on-line application, the onus rests on you to make sure that the information you type in, as well as the way you represent yourself, is acceptable to you. We extract your profile from your information that you give us in your application, but we do not alter it in any way! Spell checker is a very useful tool! Remember that people will want to meet you (or not!) based on how you present yourself.

How does it work?

You tick the 1-on-1 AstroDate option on your online application, thereby giving us permission to send out your profile to potential dates. We will also send you profiles of people whose criteria you match and have a good astrological synastry with. Once you have made a selection and we have a mutual desire to meet, we will set up a date.

Setting up a date requires that we find a time and place that is convenient for both parties. This is not always easy, as our clients are busy professional people. Once the date is confirmed and the date fee paid, we will email you the details of when and where you will be meeting, as well as the first name of your date. The date fee for one 1-on-1 AstroDate is R165, or R450 for three dates.

After this, all you need to do is arrive at the venue and enjoy another social adventure! It’s as simple as that!
